Information we collect

What you give us directly

When you use our Contact or Get an Estimate forms, we collect your name, phone number, email address, the products you’re interested in, approximate sizes and location of your openings, and anything you write in the message field. This is used solely to prepare and follow up on your quote.

What’s collected automatically

Like most websites, we use Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) to understand general traffic patterns — pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and how visitors interact with the site. We also run Google Ads conversion tracking to see which ads lead to a quote request, and Google reCAPTCHA to keep spam and automated abuse out of our forms. Our Contact page embeds a Google Maps view of our office. Each of these Google services may set its own cookies, governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.

How we use it

• To respond to your quote or estimate request and follow up
• To carry out and invoice for work you’ve asked us to do
• To understand which pages and products visitors find useful
• To measure how effective our advertising is
• To detect and block spam or automated form submissions

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t use it for anything beyond what’s listed above.

Who we share it with

Quote and estimate requests are stored in FranCRM, the customer management system we use to track leads, quotes, and jobs. Beyond FranCRM and the Google services described above, we don’t share your information with third parties, except where required by law.

Cookies

This site doesn’t use cookies for anything beyond the analytics, advertising, and spam-protection purposes described above — there’s no cookie-based tracking for any other purpose. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; doing so may affect the Google Maps embed on our Contact page or our spam protection, but won’t prevent you from submitting a quote request.

How long we keep it

We keep quote and job information for as long as reasonably needed to respond to your enquiry, complete any work, and meet our accounting and legal obligations, after which it’s deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Under POPIA, you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, request that it be corrected or deleted, or object to how it’s used. To do this, contact us using the details below. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa).

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect the information you share with us, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top.
